Product review
Recommended improvements before broader release.
The current alpha already supports simple geometry, sketches, cuts, holes, fillets, coordinate editing, and export. The next phase should make the workflow easier for new users while adding microfluidic design intelligence.
Start users with a short chip setup: units, substrate size, channel depth, fabrication method, and target application.
Improve iPhone, iPad, and trackpad use with explicit rotate, pan, zoom, fit, and reset controls that do not require hidden shortcuts.
Separate sketch, feature, view, and inspection modes so users always know whether they are drawing, cutting, selecting, or moving the camera.
Add click-to-edit dimensions, constraints, centerlines, grids, snapping presets, and visible units for channel and cartridge features.
Next feature priorities
Microfluidic features to add next
These additions move the modeler from a general 3D sketch tool toward a practical cartridge and lab-on-chip workflow.
